I will keep my diary in chronological order and list the date of each diary entry (because I may not post each day, but will have a diary entry for each day...if that makes any sense) as well as how many days/weeks it has been since I started phen. I will list my daily reactions to the meds, the dose I took and what time, as well as the food I consumed that day and any other information I feel should go in my diary. Each Fridays I will do a weigh in and measurements of my arms, bust, waist, hips and thighs. I am doing the measurements because if/when I begin to exercise, I may gain muscle which could make my weight go up or make it seem as if im not losing as much.
I really hope my diary will help others reach their goals or can help get someone motivated when they see that it really can work for them as well. Now, I must state that I know phen is not necessarily made for someone my size. This being said, I hope this diary will keep me from not eating by visually seeing what I consume daily. I also will make sure that once I reach my goals, I will stop taking phen. At that point I also hope to track my progress and how I try and keep the weight off.

-Phen seems to be working. Not sure if I can handle taking a whole pill in the morning on an empty stomach
-9:30 AM, No desire to eat or drink. Will try and make myself eat something
-Somewhat increased energy, but not too speedy
-started feeling hungry around noon so took second half of pill.
-Have some dry mouth, but nothing too extreme. Happy with my reactions so far
-Headache started around 3:30 pm. Took excedrine migrane and headache went away.
-Crashing/cracked out feeling around 6-6:30 pm. A little sick to my stomach (could be because im hungry).
-Insomnia, writing this at 3:30 AM because I cant sleep. Not sure if it's phen or just random insomnia (sometimes happens to me).

Dinner: remainder of Mc Donalds breakfast (1 1/2 pancakes, 1/2 sausage, 1/2 hash brown, 1/4 tsp butter, syrup). About a bottle of water drank throughout the day
Snack: 1 bite of a hot dog w/ ketchup, a few pretzel bites with pizza sauce and fat free cream cheese.
Notes:
-Fell asleep at 5 am (awake since 7am on friday, was awake by 8 am, less than 3 hours of sleep.
-Feeling VERY "cracked out" today. Probably from lack of sleep.
-took a nap from 4:30-7, feel more awake, but i feel muscle aches all over, not sure if its soreness from bowling 5 games or a side effect of phen.

3-25-07 Day 4

Reactions/notes:
- Been a bit sleepy all day, probably from lack of sleep friday/sat
- Phen didnt seem to take away hunger too much today, could be because I went to watch a marathon and walked 1 1/2 to 2 miles which is more exercise than I usually get.
- Lunch/dinner eaten at about 4:15, nothing between breakfast and that besides water.
- Haven't been so good with my food choices the past few days, will hopefully do better when I have time to grocery shop and have food at home to eat vs. getting fast food.
- Have noticed, however, im eating much less food than before, even if my food choices havent been the greatest.
- did a little bit of binging tonight. wasnt too happy with that, but still kept it down to dry cereal, a muffin and a few cheetos, not too totally bad considering I didnt have a chance to eat during the day.
- have started thinking that i need to skip a day to let my body re-adjust. Will probably not skip until possibly friday after my weigh in and measurements.

- My back is hurting REALLY bad today. I think it may be from the phen. Im hoping this side effect goes away, otherwise I will have to stop taking it.
- I was very hungry this evening, but was able to not over eat.

- Still have intense lower back pain
- Have lower abdominal cramping (could be b/c TOM is next week)

- Other adverse side effects / symptoms seem to be fading besides the back pain which may or may not be caused by phen.

- Still have back pain. Doesnt seem as bad as yesterday, but still hurts. Still not sure if it's from phen or not. Seems to be a little better, but if it's still hurting friday, i may see a doctor.
- No other noticable side effects.
- Little dissapointed that I binged in the evening, but I didnt eat hardly anything all day, so I was pretty hungry that evening. Still kept my binging to a minimum.
- excited about weigh in and measurements tomorrow. They may not be what im hoping for since TOM is starting sunday, so I may be bloated. If that's the case, I should see more results with next weeks weigh in.

- The weight isnt coming off as quickly as I had hoped it would, but I have binged a few times, so that could be a big reason why. If I could keep from late night binging and remember to eat enough during the day, the weight may come off quicker.
- I can now visualy notice my weight loss, and it feels great to see it. It makes me quite excited and helps keep me motivated.
